to carry out quasi static analysis you may do the following:

1- perform eigen value analysis and compute the natural period

2-in the dynamic analysis, set the time period=> 10 * natural period

3-make sure that value of mass denisity is correct (be aware of units)

4-require the following history output

   -inertia energy and kinetic energy for entire model

 -applied load , reaction and displacement at application node/nodes

 -velocity for entire model

5- to check your model

  -compare between ALLIE and ALLKE energies;  kinetic energy ALLKE must be around 5% of ALLIE

  -compare between applied load and reaction, be sure their magnitudes are equal

  - and plot the velocity of model through the history of loading, be sure that velocity be 1-2 mm/s

  -plot your load-deflection curve, should not have frequency effect ( almost soomth curve)

You can either do this beforehand (by estimating velocities or elastic waves in the structure; for example, if your loading speed is so small that elastic waves can travel a length much larger than your structure, their effect will be dampened in reality), or you can check afterwards whether kinetic energies in the simulation are small compared to all other energies (check history variable ALLKE).

Quasi-static situation means that inertia terms are quasi-null, which mean that kinetic energy is small compared to strain energy (mentioned by M. Baeker). I propose one way to check it, which is e.g. change significantly the material density properties and verify if the results "quasi- not changes". It should give you the evidence you look for. By the way, consider to add here a comment after you check it.

To confirm that the quasi-static solution is maintained in the simulation, you need to make sure that the ratio of the total kinetic energy to the total internal energy is small enough (normally less than 5%)

ABAQUS provide an easy way to perform quasi static analysis as follows:

1-create step (dynamic implicite)

2- choose application (Quasi static) inside the dynamic implicit step

3- create amplitude

4- inside the step create Bounadry condition using amplitude (id you are applying the loading using displacement control) or creat load with amplitude (if you apply loading with load control)

by this way, your anlysis is Quasi Static. don't forget to define the density for each material you are using.
