To help you, it's important to know the type of fabric (cotton, wool, polyester) and the method used to fix the microcapsules to the fabric (what kind of adhesive is being used?).

To enhance the adhesion of microfibers with fragrance capsules to fabric, consider surface modifications like plasma treatment or chemical etching to increase reactivity. Incorporating adhesion promoters into the adhesive formulation and optimizing adhesive properties can also help. Additionally, pretreating the fabric surface and minimizing the use of fabric softeners can further improve adhesion.

The produced microcapsules can be for all laundry used as clothing, neither cotton, nor polyester and nor others. The way the microcapsules are held to the fabric must be by physical forces. After producing the microcapsules, I don't know if any adhesive is added into the microcapsule solution. But I don't put any adhesive.

After completing the microencapsulation, I made some modifications with chemicals such as "Salcare sc 60" to make some of the microcapsule surfaces cationic. However, it did not reach the level of those sold commercially. I don't know about chemical etching in microcapsules. Also, what kind of chemicals are there as adhesion promoters.

Microcapsules need a binding agent to be anchored, unless they and the textile material are electrically charged. The choice of binding agent depends on the type of membrane of the microcapsules and the textile material. Among the binders, there's acrylic resin (polycross TBI 50).
