Dear Ramesh Gomasa . Thank you for your consideration. Please find attached the excel screenshot of the modal analysis results of the steel truss as obtained from SAP 2000. I noticed only translation in the y-axis despite increasing the model even up to 30. There are no vertical modes nor torsion. I think something is fundamentally wrong. Thank you in advance.

Can you attach the model file exported to '.S2K' file?... probably it's comparitively fkexible in the y direction... truss in the x-z plane, i suppose.
