i am requiring all issues and all articles published in the "international journal of Prosthodontics" in the year 2016. If anybody could be of assistance, that would be really appreciated.
I thought I had answered this previously but now I cannot find that answer. International Journal of Prosthodontics is published by quintessence publishing. If you do an Internet search on quintessence publishing you should be able to find their Internet site and you can purchase the journal through that site. Another way of getting the journal is to join an organization that has one of its member benefits as the subscription to this journal. The international college of prosthodontists can also be searched on the Internet and it uses the IJ P as its official journal.
The advantage of getting the subscription through an organization is that the organization files all the appropriate paperwork which generally makes it a hair easier although it was small difference in workload. The other thing is that if you join an organization you get all the other benefits of organizational membership. If you join through group like the ICP you will get electronic access to all the previous volumes of IJP. I would imagine that the first issue of the ITP probably started between 1985 in 1990. I just looked it up, the first issue was in 1988 in the first article was titled "the retro alveolar notch" but when I tried to download that article I did not see access to it. It looks like it was volume 4 before they started giving full Internet access to each of the articles. Back in the late 80s and early 90s having journal articles completely on the Internet was rather uncommon.
Having just made that excuse for the I JP I thought I would look at the IJOMI to see if it has publications all the way back to its first year in 1988 and indeed it does. Those are PDF documents that appear to have been scanned in to the publisher's website. I'm not sure how you would get the original three years of the I JP. Maybe if you were subscriber or if you belong to an organization the organization might be able to get those copies for you. But everything after volume 4 and then into the current year's is all available electronically.
It's a good Journal from a good publisher. Quality of images and text is always good coming from quintessence.
