From the literature, I saw different methods ( Kumar et al., Sharples and Charlesworth, Wattmuff et al., and McAdams) but I am confused and couldn't understand which method is appropriate for me.
There are mostly a lot of equations to determine heat coefficients for convection type heat transfers. If you use any formulation of the heat coeff. calculation, you have to check for which conditions are these equations created, for instance, for which Reynolds number (force convection), Rayleigh numbers (free convection), Prandtl numbers, shape, geometry etc. Sometimes, it is recommend to use several formulations and compare results each other.
