Hi everybody, I'm asking whether anybody can help me how to get the ''average'' heat flux at whatever radius (NOT at specified location or node or element ) of 2-D hollow cylinder that has two layers (3 different radii) by using APDL ANSYS. The inner radius of this simple geometry (cylinder) is 0.02 m at constant temperature 50 C, and the outer one is 0.1 m at constant temperature 30 C and the thermal conductivity is 2 W/m.k.
Any help will be really appreciated.
Unfortunately, I don't have the answer either. Do you know how to get the result, (TEMP, UX,UY, etc..) at an specific keypoint, or coordinate?
In fact, Im learning workbench ansys right now cause I think it is easier to get what we are looking for.
you can list your result for the selected nodes or elements, then export it to EXCEL and do whatever you want, e.g.. calculating average.
