How can i georeference maiac modis?

Hi All

I downloaded MODIS MAIAC from https://portal.nccs.nasa.gov/datashare/maiac/DataRelease/Global-VI-8day-0.05degree. But I could not overlay with other spatial data of my area of interest. Has anyone dealt with the specific data from this source?

Appreciate any help.
