I have six curves formed with 8 points along the horizontal axis, and one curve is formed by a control. How can I fit to the control each curve to adjust the new data?
I would include the control values as a separate vector in the vector analysis. This in effect accounts for the control data, and the other vectors are then free to vary on the Y axis.Something like differences among various age groups can be more-or-less controlled for by this method.
It looks like you want to compare six different scanners and the “control” could be the reference method. If this is the situation in your research, look at this paper that could be helpful, but the clue in this analysis is the research design and you didn't give enough information about that.
