Aerosol composition measurement date files were downloaded from ARM (Atmospheric Radiation Measurement) website. The files, named as "sgpaerosolbe1turnC1.s1.YYYYMMDD.000000.custom.cdf", contain SSA in red, green and blue wavelength, by which how can I extract aerosol composition, including mineral dust, sea salt, haze, smoke etc?

The SSA only allows an estimate of the concentration of Absorbing/Black Carbon.
From the Angstrom coeeficient you can make an estimate of the size distribution and thus if their is a contribution of coarse particles. Such large particles are most often mineral dust over a continent and sesalt over the ocean.

The other way around: you make an estimate of your regional aerosol on the basis of emissions and real chemical composition data and then group the aerosol in the OPAC type(s)

Though chemical composition measurements of aerosols in-situ could be the closest to actual to find chemical nature, it can also differ largely when consider columnar SSA as in your case. However some approximation can be made using OPAC, chemical model by matching spectral SSA and AOD, both simulataneoulsly assuming different classes of aerosols with prior knowledge of their possible relative presence. Though it is time consuming and one will have to possibly consider the wind back-trajectories, at different heights and know-how activities going around. I feel though limited, it is worth while. You may have a look at my work, shown below, if you like, we tried deriving composition through AOD, SSA matching through OPAC.
