Is there any possible pathway for the cyp2c19 gene related with the aspirin resistance response? I'm so confused as to how to relate the cyp2c19 pathway with aspirin. Normally cyp2c19 is involved with plavix at clopidogrel.

There is no much information about the aspirin resistance towards CYP219 pathway. But, u can check another gene,ABCB1 that will also resist to antiplatelet drug when it gets dysfunctional version. There are a few patients that probably have a normal metabolism of CYP219 pathway, but get problem in the function of ABCB1 gene.
