Hi everyone.
I have to start a trial of efficacy of bacteriophages against the kiwi bacterial canker, but before I need an effective method to inoculate my 15 6 months old kiwi plants with Psa.
For a similar study I will inoculate Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola in bean with a spray of the culture. But I do not think this will work with the kiwis.
Any suggestion?
My first question is , how are you sure of any possible benefit to kiwi plant by inoculation with Pseudomonas ??. Bigger question lies , at what stage of plant growth , we should inoculate and the optimum conditions to be ensured to optimise the inoculation response...

The inoculation is the one I will try to cure with bacteriophages. I was curious about a way to inoculate in a standardized and sure way my plants.
The best remedy for control of any aerial disease with bioinoculants is to spray the biocontrol agent on the diseased part of the plant with the spray pump. the log phase of the culture may be diluted 100 times with tap water and then sprayed when the first appearance of disease is noticed.
