Hi I have a dissolution problem with the Polyvinyl alcohol fully hydrolized (PVA) in water , I tried to make a mineral suspension with 30 % of solid loading and using the PVA as a dispersant agent (8% wt on the mineral phase) ) but the probleme is that I still have the grains of PVA in the suspension even if i heated the solution to 60 C for 4h

Hello dear, if you want to dissolve PVA, you have to heat it at 90 °C during at least 1 hour.

Hello dear, I have tried your recommandation and it worked thank you but there is an other problen wich is about the water weight fraction that i should conserve constant as I am preperaing a suspension , so is it correct if I add the amoung of water that I have lost during the heating step , thank you
