I have an SEM image of a perovskite film (see attached). I want to determine the grain size distribution (histogram of grain size on x-axis vs. counts on y-axis). I am currently using ImageJ, but I'm having trouble segmenting the image to get the grain boundary map before the particle analysis step. I was able to use Coreldraw to manually outline the grains with vectors (see attached); after thresholding in ImageJ (see attached), I was easily able to get the grain size distribution. However, this method is very time-consuming, and I just found out that I will need to process ~100 different images. Does anyone know a faster and smarter way to go about this?
