In fact I work on brittle fracture, the type of material is elastic with fragile behavior (PMMA), with the following characteristics E = 3140 MPa, v = 0.3, for abaqus I use the standard abaqus.

One way to do this is by using field output. After the job completed, open it and go to tab "Result" in visualization module then "Field Output". Go to the "Status Variables" tab and enable "Use status variable" if it's not already activated. Then select "S" countour and "Mises" stress below. After that, determine the stress limit you want to show the elements with higher stresses and remove elements with lower stresses using the arrow options provided there. Then you have all elements with stress values higher than your specified limit. I hope this could help.

Thank you for your answer, yes I just tried this and really I could display the most loaded items.
You can also use the display group manager; there you can choose element based on result values and remove/add them as needed.
