You can deposit grapheme oxide on glass or quartz substrates via spin coating. Although other methods can also be used such as, dip coating, spray coating and Langmuir-Blodgett assembly etc. But spin coating is the simplest way to deposit GO films up to hundred nm scale. Treat the substrate with oxygen plasma to get hydrophilic nature of the substrates (GO is hydrophilic and therefore, gives better interaction with hydrophilic substrates). you can also control spin speed, time or GO concentration to get variable film thickness.
Another method that you can use is vacuum filtration. In short, it consists on the filtration of graphene oxide suspension through a commercial membrane.
