Hi everyone

I have a 3D model(concrete slab)in ansys(Apdl),this model is built directly as a mesh(just node and element,no line,area and volume).i want to simulate the free fall of steel ball in this slab(ball is buit by solid sphere,it's not direct modeling) .that necessary to define contact.target is steel ball and slab is contact.what type of contact is suitable for this problem?

If surface to surface contact is appropriate; my question is; How can i select the areas of solid elements(Concrete elements that built directly)for define surface to surface contact?

I did try and define a node to surface contact; but ball passed from slab!!!
