I am conducting CV analysis of a rGO-based electrode using CHI 650E workstation with platinum foil as counter electrode, an Ag/AgCl reference electrode, and 1M H2So4 electrolyte. How can I decide the range of potential window that can be applied for the CV analysis? One sample analysis is attached for reference. Also, for many samples I am getting flat line at 1mA. What is reason for this?

Kiran Ishwar Nargatti Sensitivity is the value by which the instrument senses the current. You have current in mA. The system will not sense it and will give a flat line unless you change it to 1e-3 and in some cases when 1e-1.
Kiran Ishwar Nargatti The flat line occurs due to overflow which arises due to sensitivity. Keeping the sensitivity at 1e-002 or more will solve this issue.
