Catalytic water oxidation is a half reaction in natural and artificial photosynthesis, water splitting, water electrolysis,etc. There are numerous misunderstandings, misconceptions, wrong statements in the literature. Some but not all answers are in our recently published paper: DOI:10.1039/c3cp55406f. What should be additionally discussed in the follow up paper which is under preparation?
May I to have joke? Do heterogenization of your catalytic system. Lifetime and activity will be shorter but results should be reliable

I love jokes especially from Armenian Radio. As a member of Institute of Chemical Physics you know that the mechanistic studies of homogeneous systems is much simpler than that of heterogeneous. In the field of water oxidation nobody knows how to immobilize the molecular catalysts on supports. The problems in homogeneous systems are not reliability/reproducebility of experimental data, but in their interpretation.
