I transplanted bone marrow (BM) cells isolated from wild-type mice (C57BL/6 mice) into A gene knock-out mice (C57BL/6 mice) and vice versa. The irradiated mice without being BM transplantation died after 2 weeks, whereas BM -transplanted mice were alive and hair color changed.
How can I examine the efficiency of transplantation? (the expression of A gene in BM cells is low that I can not check using Western blot)

I would suggest to take a blood sample from the tail and do genotyping.
hi i think that you must take a blood sample from recipient mice and then check the chimerism in recipient. chimerism upper 50 percent indicate that your transplantation is good. for checking chimerism you can need STR sequences. for checking STR sequences you must extract DNA from blood samles that you get and then do PCR for STR sequences and do gel electrophoresis and finally interprate the gel..
