## Notes

- This device has two measurement modes: pH and temperature.

- Before using the device, it's recommended to check the calibration and settings.

- Always store the pH meter in a suitable storage solution.

## Meter Functional Components

## Operating Procedure

1. Press button (3-7) to turn on the device and connect the power cord to the socket.

2. Connect the appropriate electrode (for pH or ion measurement) to port (3-12).

3. For mV measurement, press button (3-6) to select the measurement mode.

4. To measure temperature, press the button to display T(°C) on the screen.

5. After a two-point calibration, insert the pH electrode into a pH 7 buffer solution and wait for the reading to stabilize.

6. Then, insert the electrode into a pH 4 buffer solution and wait for the reading to stabilize. Check the slope percentage.

7. After calibration is complete, you can now measure pH and temperature of your sample.

## Precautions and Recommendations

1. The meter has a BNC port (3-12) for connecting the pH electrode.

2. Always check the fuse (3-9) and power cord (3-1) before using the device.

3. Avoid electrical noise from other devices as it can affect the measurement.

4. Calibrate the slope using pH 4 buffer solution and either pH 9 or pH 10 buffer solution.

5. The slope should be between 90% and 100% for proper electrode function.

6. If the pH reading is unstable, check the temperature compensation.

7. After calibration with pH 4-6 buffer solutions, the meter should be calibrated properly.

8. Store the electrode in storage solution when not in use.

## Maintenance

- Do not calibrate with pH 4.5 and 4.6 buffer solutions

- This device has two pH measurement modes

- The calibration slope should be within 2% of the expected value
