I'm currently calculate the time constant k in the LDF model for water vapor adsorption tests of coal. The model expression is Mt/M∞=1-exp(-k*t), and the M∞ is the the gas uptake at equilibrium. However, I don't know how to obtain the parameter M∞ at first. Thanks very much.
M∞ alone, from experiment. Both M∞ and k using nonlinear regressin method. Hope you have kinetic data. The exponential function can be obtained by integrating the LDF model, but it is not itself an LDF model. Regards,
