After running load flow one can simply calculate the difference between the active and reactive powers shown in the result box on both ends of the lines. However, I was wondering if there is a more direct way to obtain the line loss results. Just the way line losses are shown in Matpower.
You can develop a device which is able to obtain the data automatically, or buy one of course the advantage in developing a device is you can customize the whole thing based on the specification you want to obtain example: Ground Fault Monitoring using Power Analyzer you can even send data thru GSM, Bluetooth technology, Wireless Communication, IOT devices or you can even develop a mobile application for data monitoring, this could be one way of direct monitoring and to automate in obtaining line loss...
