I have noticed that COMSOL does not give me normalized eigenvalue when I tried to solve 1D/Mathematics/Coefficient Form PDE/Eigenvalue.
should I manually normalize the Eigenfunction?
How can I do that?
I got the answer. With the following steps, the normalized Eigen function can be achieved:
1- Define the integration operator ("intop1") from: Model/Definitions/Model Coupling and select whole domain
2- Define a variable like u_nor=u/(sqrt(intop1(u^2)))
3- From Result/Derived values/Gobal Evaluation put intop1(u_nor^2) to make sure that for each Eigen values the result is 1
