I want to address "students and teachers" (those who are the member of any institution) in a single word or a phrase. What will be the suitable phrase or word for that? A couple of words and phrases are popping in mind but I am not fully convinced. I need some suggestions.

Cognoscentes, as suggested by Leonardo Lavanderos , might work insofar as it can refer to both those who know and those who have the ability to know. But it would not be all that familiar in an Anglo-Indian or Anglo-American context and it might also be confused with the more familiar Italian loan word, cognoscenti, which is used to refer to people who are especially well-informed about a particular subject.
How about "the community of college X" or "the cohort of college X" ?
There isn't a specific word. But you can invent one, such as 'student-teacher duality', and just say that it is henceforth referred to as the 'duality' :)
It is quite wordy to put teachers, students, and other members of any particular college in an article title. Although, "academicians" is the option left. Can this be used? In the Wiki, I found several meanings specified by some nations.
