I prepared different copper loading's on alumina support and when I measured the acidity, it was increasing with small loading of copper (i.e. 1, 2, 3 or 4% Cu/ Al2O3), any one has explanation please?
It is difficult to advance an hypothesis without knowing details of what you are doing, but if your environment is water, copper corrosion can be at the origin of your observation:

Ideally it should not be the same as the charge distribution is different over both the metal ions, but again it depends on the physical environment present around. And this may be a reason you are getting the similar acidity for both
