Find the best experienced researcher you know in your area and associate with she or he and learn as much as you can designing studies, writing papers and reviewing papers. The good mentor is invaluable.
Thank you for your kind reply Muhammad. I find that employing skills from several disciplines is a good way to enhance research skill; so I have, as an example, combined epidemiology and neuropsychology. Epidemiology provides a nice set of rules for research and the a good basic understanding of epidemiology helps greatly. Merrill
The young researcher must select a topic , which he is familiar with & is interested in working on it . He must select a guide , who has a good reputation & willing to spend time with him & reviews his work regularly . He should use his creative knowledge to enjoy his work & not copy paste his research . He should allot adequate time to review the past research in the field of his work & acknowledge the contributions of these researchers & he must enjoy his work .
Yes Sir Shivakumar, you are right. I am also a young researcher and my suggestions are that first, you select a topic which is most familiar and interested most then make a questionnaire generally for your help that these question which you answer in your article and clearly explain these all parameters. Also appreciated merill that we must learn from senior researchers.
I think that all prior suggestions are of very high value. In addition, keep pursuing wellbeing through a balance of all your "other" interests (sports, music, art) would help to impulse creativity and energy (goord ingredients to uplift a research profile).
