It is rather like trying to describe a tiger skin carpet by providing details about each hair! Even with a computer which can absorb all of the data about the individuals of our society, the output is likely to be so long and confusing that we will be unable to follow it and find out how it works. So what do micro-economics and macro-economics share in terms of specific data?
Yes, you can't, because the macro-economy comprises more than individual families, villages and small businesses. Studying and understanding those 'individual' components excludes, importantly, government, large businesses and another component, if we think within the confines of a country: the rest of the world. It is not fully clear whether you mean to study economic behaviour of families etc., which would be micro- or price economics. There are fundamental, methodological differences between the study of micro- and macro economics that are explained in basic textbooks. There are also elements of economic behaviour studied by micro economics that apply to the macro economy, e.g. how the exchange rate, and with that import- and export prices, determine the value and volume of imports and exports.
That could mean an applications of micro foundation theory to a macro economy, like Marshallian demand function application in trade theory
You may like to check the book below. The unit of analysis of all social sciences should be the individual. If methodological individualism is incompatible with your macroeconomic reasoning, it is a serious problem for your thesis.

It seems that there is no direct and simple answer to this question. I find that certain principles are commonly shared in the working of micro- and macro- such as the demand and supply relationships. But otherwise these two representations are incompatible. Please tell me if I am wrong.
