So I have characterised two samples with BET, sample A has higher weight and less pore volume than sample B. Whats confusing is that the quantity adsorbed is very similar for both samples. I have manipulated the weight of each sample to make sure that the calculation is right and that increasing the sample weight for the same quantity adsorbed will reduce the pore volume as expected (volume/weight), and it was. So how could that be? is there other factors influencing these results ?
