There is no closed door in the new century through the gate of modern technology. In my view First, you need to gather reliable data on the parameters influencing this issue which may include taxation, income resources, wealth state, government impacts on society, etc. After that, it would be possible to create various models such as statistical models or time series based on the dataset. Finally it is possible to predict the behavior of model or specify the most effective parameters by means of AI methods including ANNs or LSTM and so on.

I think through artificial intelligence more works can be created for people. and this new world is full of possibilities and now digitalisation is bringing more opportunities. So I think this could help eradicate poverty.

The one thing with all machine learning and deep learning solutions is that once the indicator of something is detected, action has to be taken. Even if you use the most powerful algorithm, if the decision-makers don't take action, it's all but for nothing. However, they may have gained some new knowledge and if they reflect on the time and see the reality unfold before their eyes, perhaps that could change their perspectives, only then will they choose to rely on AI solutions and that's the beginning of change.

Poverty just like any other anomaly, requires we know what are the underlying causes, why and how to solve it. All these questions can only be answered with valid data. This is where data science, machine learning & AI help in fighting poverty.

Artificial intelligence can help eradicate stupidity. And artificial intelligence will not help to eradicate poverty, because the cause of poverty is not stupidity, but social injustice. And justice has nothing to do with the presence or absence of intelligence. Rather, justice is related to conscience. And artificial intelligence does not yet have an artificial conscience. And the natural intellect also does not have a natural conscience.it is not the intellect that has a сonscience, but the personality. Therefore, an artificial conscience can be possessed not by an artificial intelligence, but by an artificial personality.

Fundamentally, AI will increase production efficiency and simultaneously increase the number of people without jobs. That alone does not necessarily mean that poverty should increase. Poverty is a societal problem requiring societal solutions.

While AI could potentially result in the concentration of wealth with a few owners of capital, society can allow this development and mitigate the consequences on jobs through taxes and the redistribution of wealth.

Moreover, other services might also emerge as AI replaces some of the monotonous operations currently being carried out by humans, thereby creating more jobs. In essence, AI will likely lead to the transmutation of jobs and the immediate effect of that transition will require government social measures (for example the UBI).

AI, machine learning, or data science alone cannot help eradicate poverty, not right now.

AI can help to identify the region’s most in need of help. Tackling poverty in specific regions through improving farming lands and agriculture, increasing education and helping inhabitants learning new skills to support communities.

AI cannot do this job, because most of AI or IT experts are already working for world's most richest people. The converse is never possible, is a harsh truth.

To eradicate poverty, we must eliminate the causes of poverty. Lack of intelligence is not the cause of poverty. Therefore, artificial intelligence will not help to eradicate poverty. Similarly, the invisible hand of Adam Smith's market, or any technology at all, will not allow us to eradicate poverty. For example, space and nuclear technologies have not made it possible to eradicate poverty. What did they allow? They have allowed us to create more effective means of destroying people by a number of criteria. The same will happen with artificial intelligence. And in General, no one cares about poverty except the poor themselves. And such a task as to eradicate poverty seriously none of the powerful of this world, its rulers do not set.

Точно также искоренить бедность не позволит невидимая рука рынка Адама Смита, да ви вообще какие-либо технологии. Например космические и ядерные технологии не позволили искоренить бедность. А что они позволили? Они позволили создать более эффективные по ряду критериев средства уничтожения людей. Тоже самое будет и с искусственным интеллектом. Да и вообще бедность никого не волнует кроме самих бедных. И такой задачи как искоренить бедность всерьез никто из сильных мира сего, его правителей не ставит.

The question of whether or not any advance in technology will be able to "help" with poverty is a bit too vague a question I think. Surely better computing technology will be of some help in every aspect of our lives, but helping and resolving are not the same thing.

Perhaps the better question is "How much can Artificial Intelligence, Data Science etc.. help with poverty?". I think it is by nature rather difficult to quantify how much a greater Intelligence would be able to improve the poverty situation.
