The displacement variable U is stored in ABAQUS - UEL.For a dynamic analysis, there are incremental steps, so the displacement under different incremental steps is different.But you want to store the displacement at each step, and you want to sum the displacement at each step by the corresponding different coefficients.How do you deal with that?How to store the displacement of each iteration step effectively?I want to deal with a discrete convolution formula.Hope that the majority of researchers can give help and guidance.
I am sorry as this answer might be too late for you. However, I hope it would help others. If you want to store some variables in UEL code and display them on Abaqus, you can store them in SVARS that updates any variable you store for each current step. For viewing the results if you used UEL subroutine, you will need to overlay the typical Abaqus elements and use a dummy UMAT subroutine. Please ask me if you need more details.

You can get the values of SVARS by saving it in STATEV (SDVs) argument of dummy UMAT, you can store the values in STATEV of previous step from SVARS which you will pass in dummy UMAT, and you can get STATEVs of current steps in the output of dummy UMAT.
