Once I have designed and simulated a microwave absorber in HFSS, I am looking forward to do the circuit analysis, but I am not sure, how it is done. Should I give random values to R,L and C and check whether it is working for my design or not.
Also, is it possible to extract these R, L and C values from the S-parameter plots in HFSS. Kindly guide.
you just send s-parameters in real and imaginary form or send me HFSS or cst file i will generate exact equivalent ct with value immediately

If you have S11 plot. Then the resonance frequency will be at the center of the dip
of the curve. This give a one relation for the L and C such that
f0= 1/2 pi sqrt LC,
From the physical stricture you can estimate either L or the C.
To determine the exact of of the R
As magnitude S11 = the reflection coefficient,
Then S11=I (ZL-ZS)/(ZL+ZS) I,
Assuming the that the structure is in resonance then ZL can be assumed ohmic.
ZS is also real an known then one can get ZL at resonance.
In this way one can get R,Land C.
You can compare these values from that you will get out from the program.

I understood that you have the simulation structure ready and you want to drive the equivalent circuit model with similar S11, right?
You have to represent the structure in mathematical model. You have to consider resonance frequency equation. Then, you will obtain the values of RLC. You can make sure these values are correct by using ADS.
In reality, It is difficult to extract RLC values for any unit cell design of microwave absorber in HFSS. But there are some standards for such calculations. You can follow the following paper.
