Dear friends,

In abdominal CT images, the colon distension is classified in to G0 (completely collapsed), G1 (partial collapse), G2 (sub optimal distension) and G3 (optimally distended). I want to know,

1. What is the measurement in mm, for classifying in to above categories?

2. For measuring different colon segments, which image plane/view and along which axis in patient coordinate system is used?

3. Does this grading size remain same across all the CT slices? or can it vary?

Thanks & regards,
