Thanks much! Is there any research linking mirror or other neurons to the "6th sense?" I recollect reading some research a while ago that went something on the lines of:

- Two subjects had fMRI sensor nets placed to monitor brain activity.

- These subjects were requested to think of "happy" thoughts.

- Certain areas of the brain lit up during this process.

- Simultaneously, a third subject also with a fMRI sensor was being monitored. This third subject was asked to think "unhappy or painful" thoughts. Their brain activity was monitored.

- the hypothesis was that the brains of the first two subjects also started lighting up areas that were associated with the parts associated with the third subjects thoughts.

Is there any such study that was done? I am truly happy for your response, and grateful for further help.
