Numerical and experimental analyses of the effect of different geometrical modelings on predicting compressive strength of honeycomb core - ScienceDirect

Hello everyone,

I need help in my research field. I am working on honycomb compression. My question is about: In the picture below extracted from the paper (Numerical and experimental analyses of the effect of different geometrical modelings on predicting compressive strength of honeycomb core , the comparaison between the numerical study and the experimental study leads to show that the displacement in the experimental study is bigger that the numerical study. Then, when I have read the legend of the numerical study graph, I found Stress-displacement, I would like to know if the stress is the same force given in the experimental study.

for my own research, I found the same graph of the numerical study by my work in ABAQUS. My second question is what are the criterions that we must consider our comparison (materials properties, interaction, boundaries conditions, displacement, velocity)?
