So I am working with a drug that we know induces cell death in MDA-MB-231 cells. In other cell lines we have been able to identify that this drug induces ferroptosis. I have also done experiment's and found that apoptosis and pyroptosis are not induced, but doing all of that has taken a lot of time.
Is there a way I could screen other cell death pathways quickly without spending lots of time on target identification and buying lots of different inhibitors of cell death and antibodies for western blots?

Apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy can be determined quickly and without autobodies by light microscopy, electron microscopy, flow cytometry, or using biochemical tests (eg spectrometric determination of caspases).
If You want to define different types of apoptotic, necrotic death, then antibodies are indispensable.

Seems like it will be a grind to identify which pathway is taking place. I am looking for a quick screen where I could find out which pathway is taking place followed by an in depth characterization of the pathway.
There are cell death specific assays that some of them are straight forward but yet required characterization using specific markers or inhibitors. There are a few samplers kit (Cell Signaling: Apoptosis/Necroptosis Antibody Sampler Kit #92570; Ferroptosis Antibody Sampler Kit #29650) that includes more than one pathway/reagent and can save some expenses, otherwise systematic characterization is what we are currently using.
