It's impossible to give any resonable advice for the analysis if the reseach question, the experimental design, and the characteristics of the response variable is unknown.
Ok, I still don't have a clue about what the data are, how they are measured and what statistical properties a variables should have describing this kind of data. It would also be helpful if you could state concrete statistical hypotheses you'd like to test (I am just guessing that this is one of your aims as you mentioned "ANOVA" in your question).
I wonder if the three groups you are talking about all different people or if a person was exposed to all three experimental conditions (and if so: did you consider cross-overs and wash-outs)? If not: what was the rationale to use different subjects in these groups?
And aren't there any covariables involved? I mean, emotional responses will surely depend a lot on age, gender, familiar background etc. Are you going for a very narrow, specific conclusion or should this study provide evidence for somewhat more general conclusions?
