Aspergillus flavus is associated with aflatoxin a potent mycotoxin. Beside toxic issues with this fungus numerous other fungi produce potential mycotoxins, ergot fungus, different fusara species penicillium spps and many more are associated with diverse mycotoxins.
I mean once the aflasafe is an aggressive species of aspergillus that will not produce aflatoxin and used to control the aspergillus which produce aflatoxin. Is there any risks of this new aspergillus in future?
