I would be collecting venom samples which will be extracted in the field, very rough terrain and no cold conditions will be available. Does anybody know a way to save the venom sample in room temperature which can be used later on for proteomic analysis. Please ask for any information needed.

It really depends what type of venom you're into and what's the downstream purpose.collecting venom for activity tests is not the same as collecting venom for sequence analysis.
if you're planning to run it on the gel, than you can use different chemicals than if you're planning to use HPLC.

1st step of your collecting venom should be legalized your research where your research based on, and probably a method varies with the family of the species (Viperidae, Elapidae etc.) of your collections

in this case, I would use a good protease inhibitor cocktail to prevent self digestion. if you're planning to run bottom-up analysis after SDS-PAGE, you can add the venom straight into 100%TCA. that'll precipitate the venom, allowing you to prepare the sample at the lab. if you insist on keeping the venom in solution, I would use the protease inhibitors and a slightly acidic buffer. obviously, venom quantities and the type of venom will dictate your conditions.
