Glutathione assay kit from CAYMAN is one of the most used kit.
Besides,Cayman’s GSH assay kit utilizes a carefully optimized enzymatic recycling method, using glutathione reductase for the quantification of GSH.
GSH measurement can be done in plasma, tissue samples, and cultured cells using this kit.At the end,kit doesn't report a suitable hematocrit value to use.

Cayman's kit (and generally most of commonly used procedures) gives wrong values for GSH and expecially for GSSG; the acidification step leads to GSH oxidation thus GSSG levels are largely overestimated (up to 2-3 orders of magnitude). We have reported this on several papers since 2002 and recently on Nature Protocols.
