I would like to have an help to classify two small unicellular green algae
Algae A (i can not understand what it is ...!!!)
Small algae that attaches a lot to the glass walls of flask, but also lives as planktonic in the presence of air insufflation.
Dimensions 10-15 * 3-5 microns
Alga B
Probably Scenedesmus obliquus
Planktonic, it is visible as single or, at the maximum, as two cells, apparently has no granularity or estroflexion on the wall.
Dimension 10-12 * 8-10 microns

It's a pure culture. Cells don't move and are not euglenoids. They are small green algae ... when they replicate and divide they are rounded, then they stretch during growth.

B: Scenedesmaceae, but I would sequence it for the identification, as they are morphologically unstable under culture conditions

if they are a chlorococcal it could be perhaps also Keratococcus but Chlorocloster how is a xantophyta is also like these.

I do not know Keratococcus. Would you have material to read, pictures to observe?
S. ecornis is quite different from algae B, interesting instead Didymocystis ... However algae B is almost always single and only in some cases it comes with two attached cells.

A does not belong to Xanthophyceae.

(when i was thinking in Keratococcus i was thinking in Keratococcus mucicola (HUST) HIND 1977
Because all sequenced strains which were originally identified as Monodus belong to Monodopsis (Eustigmatophyceae) or are green algae (mostly Coccomyxa). More detailed about my opinion you could read in Ott et al. 2015 (In Freshwater algae of North America, 2nd ed).
The type species of the genus Keratococcus is Keratococcus bicaudatus, and I have doubts, that alga A (with mucillage drops?) will by phylogenetically related with it.

but Eustigmatophyceae are Heterokontophyta and Chromista than they are really more related with Tribophyceae-xantthophycea than Chlorophyta , arent they?
