Hi, I am new to the group. I am looking for some material on developing a new method for detecting enzyme inhibition at molecular level. the enzyme is a cell surface protein. it is highly expressed.
I am sorry I missed the point! I was just looking for some help on developing an assays method for neuraminidase isolated from an Asian h1n1 isolate. I am confused with so many assays that i cannot follow one. Then since i am doing my phd , my supervisor would like to look at if inhibition can be studied at the molecular level even if the protein is inhibited after being formed. thanks. ayesha fatima, there are so many experiments you can do and all scientists face that. however, you choose one that you think will best fit your project and get possible outcomes. but as a suggestion, try competition assay. what kind of inhibition is it anyways? there are so many kinds of inhibition, and depending on the type, you can design an assay for it. read research pprs similar to your project. that will give you an idea of what experiments to perform.
