In my opinion vision loss is not due to partial PVD Perhaps, it was revealed by OCT by chance and the patient has an another cause responsible for vision loss -transient ischemic attack
I agree with dr Marianne. At its early stage, as that documented in the Oct provided by dr Rocha, vitreoretinal traction- induced visual symptoms are limited to visual distortion (metamorphopsiae) and mild va loss (even in the case of vitreopapillary traction as described by Kats). The same applies to the case reports described by Scalinci. Transitory visual loss, especially if it is complete, is synominous of "amaurosis", that is temporary loss of signal processing at the level of the visual pathway or, more often, of the visual cortex. In your patient I' d perform vascular neck ecodoppler, visual field, and a screening for trombophilic diseases.
