First of all there are 2 different kinds of flows, parallel and counter. When I try solving for parallel flow then fluent doesn't read the boundary conditions and gives the maximum and minimum temperature as 300 K. (Inlet temperature is 343K). The problem disappeared in counter flow with same mesh and same geometry. Where do you think is the main issue ?

You did not mention whether you are simulating the Dual Cell heat exchanger or the Macro one. They are completely different.

Thank you very much for replying. I am a novelist in CFD. So I am not sure what either of that means. It is a simple concentric tube heat exchanger. I haven't switched on any model. I don't know that much.
Are you sure you have the inlet defined correctly? I'm guessing if it's a counter flow vs parallel flow then the "inlet" will be at different ends of the heat exchanger. I'd suggest you double check the direction of the flow in your parallel case and make sure the flow is coming from the inlet, not the outlet.
