Hcl is a liquid. How you justify the advice of H2 blocker or PPI in abdominal distention due gaseous formation, and kindly explain the source of gas?

I am a researcher from Unani system of medicine. In our system we have a term reyah means gases enclosed in stomach or else. With this concept we have lots of drug with kisire reyah (which dissolves or breaks the gasses) property and we got very good results.

same time we use H2 blocker or PPI which are effectively working in heart burn and hyperacidity, but fails to treat abdominal distention as well.

If Hcl is a liquid then what is this gasses and how they form. Can you explain how H2 blocker or PPI will dissolve these gasses?
