Bone marrow disorders like aplastic anemia and leukemia etc effect all three cell lines so anemia with thrombocytopenia is common.

RBC, WBC and Platelet are produced from the bone marrow.

If there is bone marrow suppression, production can decrease of all 3.

Platelets play a significant role in clotting. Hence low platelets can lead to blood loss and anemia.

But there is no other direct regulation of Hb by platelet.
