This is a dimethyl polsiloxane column, surprising if you can use triglycerides int it!
I didn´t try and I think I will not to try it because we have special columns for to do it, but the question is if it is possible:
maybe it needs high temperature with high flow of He-N2?? more time, maybe not 30 min but 5-6 h ...
problems with blocked or dirty column? that... use only a small % of triglycerides in hexane for example???

Based on my experience I recommend you a fused silica capillary column (BP 10), the OFID detector is compatible with this type of column.

are you talking about FAMEs og triglyserids? FAMEs there is noe problem, ypu can choose a lot of columns, cheep and expensive. I have done a lot of work here
