I feel that the majority of the western medical researches is based on the big money spending projects.
How to serve the massive majority is a government's responsibility to think about. Especially the grant is coming from the tax money!
The ancient Chinese government, government officers and knowledgeable people knew that their knowledge should be used for the majority of the people to create a happy life for them not only for the rich people. I do not know when this kind wisdom can be adopted by the western world broadly. It was the spirit of the US constitution. However, it lost. As we are all told that every generation should renew their democracy!
It might be the same with many country's governments in the world that need democracy conscious people to fight for the people.
If my research is to serve humanity obviously everyone will get benefit of it .
