Please describe it to the details a little more about schizophrenic's symptoms. Schizophrenia has levels and various symptoms. If you do so it, researchers are more easy to answer for you. Probably an psychoanalyst has a clear answer than a psychologist. And these cases are their field. And you can make more exact flow chart.
This lady's experiences are seeing "shadow people" of all sizes from 12 inches to several feet in height. They have long sharp teeth that they gnash and grid and they make hideous screeching noises. Some of them speak. One very tall one seems to be the "master" of the rest of them. they sometimes press down on the bed threatening to "get" her once she goes to sleep,
These illusions have plagued her since she was a small child and suddenly- three weeks ago- they simply stopped.
This lady is having difficulty adapting without them.
She is enjoying the sounds and experiencing life without them, the transition has been amazing!
I have heard that the symptoms can disappear, given time and medication. A schizo must learn to focus on things outside their own problem, so that their problem may get 'smaller'. Do you agree?
getting smaller is what there is the most hope for, and occasionally the hallucinations diminish until they go away.
These symptoms were nearly constant, both visual and auditory and they suddenly stopped, like a switch was flicked off. I have never heard of it, and if I didn't know the woman personally I would have serious doubts. I do know her and she is so much more focused and aware of her surrounding it is down right amazing!
you could read Dante's cure, I never promised you a rose garden or how to become a schizophrenic, for stories of people who recovered from schizophrenia. I have worked with a couple of people who have stopped having hallucinations and largely recovered from schizophrenia.
