From my readings it seems there is quite a large group of people who have moderate to severe pain but who consider themselves well (mainly epidemiological studies) and then don't look for treatment.

My classical grounded theory study looks at people who identify as coping with pain well, and who have maintained their engagement in work. I'd like to incorporate some definitions of wellbeing, but am having trouble locating any such studies examining wellbeing as a construct with people who have persistent pain. Can anyone help please?
