MOOC providers have started earning the big bucks, and are increasingly looking upstream at higher ticket items—specifically, online degrees and corporate training .
I would believe though that it depends on many factors.
As an educator, I have attended MOOCS. I consider it a flexible way of learning about up-to-date issues, practices and skills about work. In the Greek public sector, training is considered an advantage, especially when it can be certified therefore proven.
Perhaps other professionals might have other opinion, for many reasons. They might be more ict-familiar (or less), interested in other issues or ways of training.
MOOCs are being offered by many organisations and they are earning a lot.
Agreed that it is a flexible way of learning about most modern and up to date skills required for jobs. How far it is effective remains a question.thanks for input.
